Oahu master-planned communities

As the market is recovering, more and more builders are jumping back in. D.R. Horton — Schuler Division and Castle & Cooke Homes which combined will account for approximately 17,000 single-family homes and 5,000 to 7,000 direct permanent jobs over time.   Many new construction projects are being carried out in communities including City of Kapolei, East Kapolei, Ewa Villages, Ko’Olina, Ewa Gentry, and Makakilo. But the areas seeing the most growth are Ewa and Central Oahu with Koa Ridge and Hoopili master-planned communities coming soon.

Already we seen Kapolei has growing into the second city

Our community also anxiously awaits a new shopping mall to arrive on our side of the island. It is slated to be in between the size of our two largest shopping malls on Oahu. Growth is surely what’s going to happen in Kapolei. It’s No wonder why Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties pick Kapolei for their new Home the largest residential real estate firms in the state turning its focus to the West Oahu/Kapolei region.

These ‘shiny’ new master planned communities can offer an attractive alternative to new-home buyers.

Before you go looking new construction ask yourself two questions. • The first step in finding the right home, is knowing what you can afford to pay for it. Get pre-approved don’t guess. • A good question to ask is, "Who will represent me?" First and foremost you should have someone on your side to represent you and only you.

Make sure on your first visit to Builder’s project (Your Realtor® Needs to register you during your very first visit.) the sales agents at the community are employees of the builder project. The sales rep represents the Builder and not you.

It's free to have a Realtor represent you.

Having an agent that represents you personally is a huge benefit from reviewing all contracts on their behalf, Inspections, asking important questions, monitoring the building process, etc. The choice is yours, but wouldn't it make sense to protect you with personal representation?   You don't need a real estate agent to buy a home. Then again, you don't need a doctor to have surgery, but it is highly recommended.
